The Story Behind the Collar: Why Hometown Pride Matters to Us.

Hey, Georgia dog lovers!

We get asked a lot about how Hometown Hounds Co. got started, so we thought we’d share a bit of our story with you. It all began with a simple idea: creating dog gear that celebrates the places we love, because our dogs are just as much a part of our daily adventures as we are.

My wife, Brittany, and I have always been big fans of exploring Georgia. Whether it's hiking up Kennesaw Mountain with our pups, Aspen and Oakley, or just grabbing a coffee in Marietta Square, we love our state's unique cities and landmarks.

We realized that while you could find shirts and stickers for these places, there wasn't a lot of cool, well-designed gear for our dogs. We wanted our pups to be able to show off their local pride, too! And that’s really how the idea for Hometown Hounds Co. was born.

Every design we create starts with a place that’s special to us. The details you see on our collars, shirts, and stickers are all inspired by real scenery, memories, and adventures we’ve had right here in Georgia. We put a lot of time and care into each one, making sure it’s something you and your dog will love.
